From barren land to a flourishing sanctuary

What was once a barren seven-acre plot has been lovingly restored into a flourishing tropical sanctuary alive with birdsong, butterflies and wildlife.

Home to indigenous trees, plants, flowers, birds and small mammals, our gardens invite you to wander along winding paths beneath leafy baobabs and find a moment of peace.

With direct access to one of the most peaceful stretches of beach in Chwaka Bay, our property offers a tranquil escape in nature overlooking the Indian Ocean.

THE POND DECK

A quieter place to pause

At the heart of the wildlife area, a wooden deck overlooks our pond, surrounded by wildflowers, fig trees and indigenous bush. Watch weaver birds nest among the reeds, guinea fowl roam freely and egrets settle in the baobab trees. Whether for a quiet afternoon, a sundowner or a candlelit dinner beneath the stars, our pond deck offers a beautiful, secluded escape.

Open-air dining beneath the palms

Reserved exclusively for guests, our garden kitchen and dining area offers a relaxed, open-air dining experience with a wood-fired pizza oven, barbecue, bar and cosy fire pit.

Sip a freshly prepared cocktail at sunset and dine beneath the stars or in our Bedouin tent. All meals are served here each day and can also be enjoyed privately at your villa.
